What do you make your props out of?
Can you make a prop completely out of metal, or with a metal blade?
What is your guarantee for workmanship of my prop?
Will you do repairs?
Hey is there anyone actually reading these emails I keep sending?
How can I let you know there is something wrong with the form or shop?
Pretty much anything. If you can draw it out we can find a way to manufacture it. We use everything from hand tools to cnc industrial machinines to fabricate our props.
First thing is to email us with a brief description of the prop and a reference shot of it. From there we will give you a quote for both price and lead time. If these figures suit what you are looking for then we ask for a deposit of half the cost and then we get to work.
Lead time varies according to our current workload, the complexity of the prop, and materials involved. Generally we need a minimum of a two to three week lead time to be able to adequately give your prop the attention and detail that it requires.
Cost for a custom props can fluctuate anywhere from tens of dollars to thousands of dollars depending on the size, complexity, functionality, materials, and our production schedule. However if you have a specific budget in mind we can usually work out an acomodation that meets both your cosplay and budget needs.
No, we provide only the props and accesories to accentuate your costume. Sorry, no cloth work.
Our props are constructed out of whatever we feel is the best materials for the job. Be it wood, plastic, metal, resins, foam, or fiberglass we have experience in all of these materials and more.
We can manufacture a solid metal prop for a custom order, but be forwarned that metal is heavy, expensive, and not allowed in most conventions.
All of our props are made for costuming purposes and unless otherwise specified are not meant to take concentrated abuse. With custom props we let you know exactly what to expect from a prop and what it will hold up to. All of our props are designed with the general wear and tear of convention use in mind. If it fails to hold up to general wear and tear then we will at our discretion either repair or replace the prop.
Certainly, we can help you fix any prop that has had the misfortune of breaking.
Yes, actually there is. Unfortunately, we have been plagued with email malfunctions and poor organization. We had remedied any past problems and are working on ensuring that we keep all technical errors to a minimum. Our current wait time is between 3 to 5 business days. We ask for you to be patient while we are at conventions as we do not always have an internet connection (to see if we are at a convention swing by the links page all linked conventions are where we are/plan on being).
